Our Story
Comtev started with a wedding. One of our founders was planning his own wedding and quickly realized how broken the process was. Finding the right vendors meant endless phone calls and dead-end recommendations. Coordinating guest lists turned into a maze of spreadsheets bouncing between WhatsApp groups, with names getting lost and duplicated along the way. And when the big day arrived, check-in was paper lists and confusion at the door.
It was clear this was not a problem unique to one wedding. Every event planner, whether organizing a corporate conference, a university gala, or a product launch, was dealing with the same fragmented tools and manual processes. The technology existed to solve these problems. Nobody had put it together in the right way.
That frustration became Comtev. We set out to build the platform we wished had existed: one place where AI handles the research, coordination, and logistics so planners can focus on what actually matters.
