What does Comtev do?

Comtev helps corporate event teams find suppliers, negotiate quotes, estimate travel costs and collect guest details. Budgets and approvals stay in the same workspace. It is built in the UK and is free to start, with paid plans from £79 a month.

Does Comtev source quotes in languages other than English?

Yes. Comtev drafts vendor outreach in the vendor's own language, including German, French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese and Arabic. A German caterer receives German and a Tokyo AV vendor receives Japanese, from the same brief.

How does Comtev collect the guest list?

Add collaborators to your event and Comtev asks each of them for guest details over Slack and WhatsApp. Contributors need no app. Comtev chases whoever is slow to reply and holds duplicates for review.

Do I need to download a separate app?

No. Comtev works on web and mobile, and the AI planning tools are built into the platform for every user. Collaborators contributing a guest list need no app at all.

How does Comtev handle check-ins?

Comtev issues digital passes with QR codes to guests. On the day, door staff scan the codes for check-in, and a live dashboard shows attendance as it happens.
